Lower back Pain?

A study from Group Health Research Institute shows that preventing long term disability and loss of income from low back pain could be greatly diminished by getting a therapeutic massage.

Of course a therapeutic massage, but "What type of massage is best for lower back pain?"

Lower Back pain can be caused by a wide variety of factors. Muscle Strain is a 70% major cause of acute low back pain which can be found in the myofascial system (the muscles, ligaments and tendons that bind the spine together and support it).

I find that my clients benefit most when their entire back is worked, along with their glutes, hamstrings, psoas muscle and calves. All of these muscles are postural, and when tight cause lower back pain and tension.

Let your therapist know what your level of comfort is. I would most likely combine a variety of techniques include Tissue Therapy (deep tissue), Neuromuscular Therapy (trigger point work), Thai Stretching and Myofascial release to help relieve this issue. I have found that the combination techniques work wonder for my clients. I simply begin with deep tissue work... and finish with Thai stretching are typically the most effective technique for eliminating or greatly reducing chronic lower back pain.

  1. A Yoga Instructor NYC usually has a license for teaching yoga to general public. Learning yoga requires hours of exercise and philosophy of anatomy. In addition, regular workshop proving exercise programs are also essential to attend. Yoga teachers and instructors usually have lots of qualities. They are fearless and speak confidently in front of groups. They express themselves confident in taking personal risks.
